art history, gallery visits, class discussion, and other unique art-based experiences that only the Schweinfurth can offer.

KNIT . WEAVE . FELT
Teacher: Karen Pardee
Students (ages 6-12) will explore fiber art as they learn to knit, weave, and felt with wool, yarn and other strands of materials during this camp. Participants will knit with their fingers, weave with straws, and create felt finger puppets and much more. Join us all week or chose a day based on the project descriptions below. These fun fibery projects are engaging for boys and girls of all ages.
Monday: Students will finger crochet mug rugs and felt beads for bracelets/mobiles.
Tuesday: Participants will make playful felt finger puppets and colorful book covers.
Wednesday: Campers will finger knit jump ropes and spool knit snakes.
Thursday: Students will weave using hula hoops and plastic drinking straws.
Friday: Students will use plastic forks to make flowers and pom pom garlands as well as make a collaborative Saori loom weaving.
COST
All week: $70 members/$95 non-members
Per Day: $15 members/ $20 non-members
Multiple Child Discount: 10% off total (same household)
