KidsART offers a series of children's art workshops on the 1st Saturday of the month through out the school year for children ages 7 - 12.
Pre-registration and payment is required one week in advance for all art classes.
No refunds after registration deadline.
Cost per art class: $10 members, $12 non-members.
Register for 2 or more: $8 members, $10 non-members.
KidsART: Create a Character
Saturday, September 15, 10am – 12pm
Students will delve deep into their imaginations and create their very own cartoon character. Then they will bring a flat human shape to life using
mixed media. Teacher: Jacqueline Webster
KidsART: Bookmaking Bonanza
Saturday, October 6, 10am – 12pm
Kids will make their own hard covered books with a Japanese binding. They will have a special place for coloring and drawing. Teacher: Richard Pardee
KidsART: Weaving Wonders Saturday, November 10, 10am – 12pm
Kids will explore basic weaving techniques to create all kinds of beautiful textured art pieces. Teacher: Jacqueline Webster
KidsART: Crazy Cards
Saturday, December 1, 10am – 12pm
Looking at traditional to contemporary prints, students will use basic printmaking techniques to create their own holiday cards. From using
rubber stamps to creating relief prints, kids will explore that many ways
to play with prints. Teacher: Richard Pardee
