Annual juried exhibition featuring 75 contemporary works of art by 73 New York State artists. Artists in this year's exhibition were selected from 549 submissions by 294 artists. This eclectic exhibition showcases photography, painting, video, sculpture, book arts and more.

Made in NY Jurors

Richard Kegler is the founder and lead designer at P22 type foundry. Before his involvement in type design, Kegler was a bookbinder, designer, postgraduate, and artist/hand-craftsman. Kegler recently started the Western New York Book Arts Center in Buffalo, NY and has returned to an active involvement in hand setting and printing metal and wood type as a concurrent career with digital font research at P22. Kegler has exhibited, published several books, and produced an independent documentary titled Making Faces: Metal Type in the 21st Century.  Kegler received a Master of Arts in Media Study and Art from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Relief Printmaking. 

Sydney L. Waller is an Independent Arts Consultant & Curator based in Cooperstown, NY and has more than twenty years of experience in non-profit arts management for a range of arts and cultural organizations.  A past Executive Director of Sculpture Space in Utica, NY; Lake Placid Institute for the Arts & Humanities; and Gallery 53 Artworks in Cooperstown, NY, Waller also led the establishment of Griffiss International Sculpture Garden in Rome, NY. Waller recently curated Lavern Kelley: Folk Artist Photographer and Recent Artists from Sculpture Space: Utica’s Utopia, and was co-curator/editor of an international traveling show for SITES (Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibitions).  Waller is a graduate of Smith College (Art History) and the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Human Development).  Waller is currently involved in efforts to bring contemporary art to college campuses, corporations, communities and business parks, expanding the audience for contemporary art and opportunities for artists.
