Founded in 1957 by Tatyana Grosman, Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE) is a fine art print publisher that sparked a printmaking revival in the United States. Grosman and her husband began by inviting emerging artists, such as Larry Rivers, Jasper Johns, and Robert Rauschenberg, to create lithographs at their studio in New York. Within a few years, the Museum of Modern Art in New York began to acquire the first print of every ULAE edition, a tradition that continues today.  The collection features some of the most notable names in modern and contemporary art including Jim Dine, Helen Frankenthaler, Robert Motherwell, Cy Twombly, and many more.
