About the Teacher:

Marley Montague is a local Ceramic Artist whose work transforms everyday objects into whimsical
pieces of art using wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Marley creates with intention to bring a
spark of joy into daily life. Her functional ceramic art blurs the line between utility and imagination,
making her creations as delightful to use as they are to behold.
Beyond her own artistry, Marley shares her passion by teaching pottery to people of all ages. She stems
from a background in ceramics and jewelry from Buffalo State as well as years of experience teaching
and working at Papavero Clay Studio as well as The Schweinfurth Art Center. Whether guiding
beginners through their first mug or helping seasoned makers refine their craft, she brings patience,
creativity, and inspiration in every class.
