About the Teacher
Marley Montague is a local ceramic artist whose work transforms everyday objects into whimsical pieces of art. Using wheel throwing and hand-building techniques, Marley creates mugs, vases, wall hangs & more! Marley creates with intention to bring a spark of joy into daily life. Her functional ceramic art blurs the line between utility and imagination, making her creations as delightful to use as they are to behold. Beyond her own artistry, Marley shares her passion by teaching pottery to people of all ages. Whether guiding beginners through their first mug or helping seasoned makers refine their craft, she brings patience, creativity & inspiration to every class. With dreams of opening her own dedicated teaching studio, Marley is already building community through her work at Papavero Clay Studio in Marcellus & the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn.
